Hardback „Deluxe“: Looks elegant, feels great

The „Deluxe“ hardback binding is by far the most elegant way to present a bachelor’s thesis, master’s thesis, etc., and highlights the dedication and effort put in by the author. As with a book, the front and back covers are made of sturdy cardboard. The cover consists of adhesive film. We produce the „Deluxe“ hardcover binding by hand, so a corresponding lead time is essential. Added to this is the drying time for the adhesive. Depending on the length of the thesis and the number of copies required, a production time of 1–3 working days should be expected.

Furthermore, a deluxe binding is only possible once the book reaches a certain number of pages, so that the spine is thick enough for the adhesive to bond properly. Alternatively, you can choose a thicker paper to achieve the required thickness (simply test this using the calculator below).

Hardback „Standard“: Perfect binding

The „Standard“ hardcover option is a clamped binding and offers an affordable alternative to the classic „Deluxe“ hardcover binding. The lower price is due to the reduced amount of work involved and the fact that the cover is already finished. Specifically, we push the printed pages of your bachelor’s or master’s thesis right up to the spine of the cover and clamp the pages firmly in place. In terms of appearance, the „Standard“ hardcover binding differs only marginally from conventional clamped binding.
