KAPA®plast is a lightweight board with white, plastic-coated cellulose board face layers (primer finish) on both sides and a polyurethane foam core. The majority of the paper cover layers used in the manufacture of KAPA®plast are FSC®-certified. The primer finish ensures optimum printability and razor-sharp images, resulting in excellent print quality. Furthermore, thanks to its coated layers, KAPA®plast is moisture-repellent and wipeable.

Lightweight, easy to transport

KAPA® is one of the lightest materials in the range. It consists of a soft grey foam layer, which is available in several thicknesses (5 mm, 10 mm). Its light weight makes it easy and cost-effective to transport.

KAPA® produces vibrant, brilliant colours, making it a popular choice for exhibitions as well as small home galleries. The print quality is razor-sharp and UV-resistant.

For indoor use only

However, KAPA® is not impact-resistant and is only suitable for indoor use; it must also be handled with the utmost care. Impacts cause irreversible deformation of the material. Furthermore, KAPA® should be handled with care, as pressure can cause irreversible deformation.
The rail running along the back is suitable for use as a mounting bracket. However, even (homemade) string suspensions, e.g. using nylon thread, are sufficient given the low weight. Any questions? Get in touch with us.
